Arab Weather - The latest weather map analysis from Arab Weather indicates that several parts of the Kingdom will continue to be affected by atmospheric disturbances, accompanied by renewed thunderstorms in many regions until the end of August.
Arab Weather forecasters said that numerical models continue to monitor the continued flow of tropical moisture towards parts of southwestern Saudi Arabia. This is a result of the ITCZ extending further north, which contributes to the influx of warm and humid southerly currents in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere, contributing to the renewal of thunderstorms daily towards the Kingdom, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity during the afternoon and evening hours.
Forecasts indicate that rain chances will be concentrated in the southwest of the Kingdom, including parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, reaching the highlands of the Makkah region, including the city of Taif. High clouds are expected to form at times, accompanied by heavy rainfall and hail. Rain clouds will also extend, intermittently and with less intensity, towards the areas southwest of Madinah, God willing.
This weather system is expected to continue affecting the Kingdom until the end of August, with chances of rain weakening and becoming more concentrated in early September, with less intensity in the far southwest of the Kingdom.
