Weather of Arabia - There are many questions about the validity of canceling the three-semester system in the academic calendar for the year 1446 , after this news was circulated on social media.
This matter required a response from the Saudi Ministry of Education, which denied the validity of this news, and confirmed the continuation of the three-semester system as it is, calling on students not to be led by rumours. The Ministry explained that if there is any change, it will be officially announced via its official website or An official statement via advertising media.

As for the dates of exams in the third semester, midterm exams begin on Shawwal 12, 1445, oral exams on Dhu al-Qi’dah 20, 1445, and final exams end on Dhu al-Hijjah 4, 1445, and students get summer vacation starting June 18, 2024.
The midterm exams for the third semester begin on April 21, 2024, and the number of weeks in the 1445 academic year is approximately 38 weeks, while the academic system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia follows the three-semester system.
