Saudi Arabia/Update 5:10 PM: Thunderstorms are affecting eastern Mecca now, and the cloud cover is reaching the Grand Mosque.

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images indicate cumulus cloud activity in several parts of the southwest and west of the Kingdom now, including the highlands of Jazan, Al-Baha, eastern Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and southern Madinah Al-Munawwarah, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and thunderstorms.

The same images also indicate that cloud cover is reaching the Grand Mosque, light rain may fall, and surface winds may be active.
