Arabia Weather - The latest updated weather maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Sultanate of Oman was affected today, Friday, by a state of air instability, and increased chances of thunderstorms in some areas.

In the details: The Sultanate of Oman began to be affected in the morning hours of Friday, by an air depression extending into the high layers of the air, where some clouds are now flowing at different altitudes in some areas of the Governorate of Buraimi, Musandam, Al Dhahirah, and North Al Batinah, interspersed with some rain clouds.

It is expected that the region will be increasingly affected in the coming hours by a state of atmospheric instability, and, God willing, cumulonimbus clouds will be active over the Governorate of Musandam Al Buraimi, North and South Al Batinah, the Hajar mountain range, and some of its neighboring areas, and thunderstorms will fall on those areas, interspersed with hail at times, and active downward winds.
