Sultanate of Oman | Suspending work in schools and converting distance learning in some governorates

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Arabia Weather - a reference to the alerts issued by the National Early Warning Center of the multiple risks of heavy rain expected, and to the communication of the Central Committee for Emergency Situations Management with those concerned with following up on the continued impact of some governorates of the Sultanate of Oman by “rainfall depression.” In order for the Ministry to ensure the safety of its students, it was decided to suspend work in schools and transfer learning remotely according to the capabilities available in all government, private and foreign schools in the governorates of (Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah), for tomorrow, Monday, April 15. April 2024.<br /> <strong>Classes will resume in schools on Tuesday, April 16, 2024</strong></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The educational directorates in the remaining governorates evaluate and follow developments in the weather situation and take the appropriate decision regarding their affiliated schools</p>
