Arab Weather - The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that about 17 people were injured in the city of Salamiyah in western Syria on Friday, as a result of an earthquake measuring 5.1 degrees.

Residents across Syria and Lebanon felt the earthquake, which the German Research Center for Geosciences determined had its epicentre at a depth of 10 kilometres.
