The crisis center is sending warning messages to stay away from flood channels in the Petra district.

The National Center announced through its official accounts that, in cooperation with the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, it will send experimental warning messages (test) to mobile phones, with the aim of providing early warning of expected weather conditions in the future, and allowing citizens to take the necessary precautions and follow public safety guidelines before they reach levels that may pose a danger.

We emphasize that these messages, which will first arrive on mobile phones starting at 3 pm today, are part of a trial and testing of this system, and do not in any way indicate any real danger.
