The Dead Sea's waters changed color due to torrential floods from valleys in Palestine.

Arab Weather - A change in the color of the Dead Sea water was recently observed, as a result of torrential floods coming from the valleys in Palestine, following the unstable weather conditions and rainfall that the region witnessed.

In detail, the large volumes of water flowing through the valleys carried sediment and silt towards the Dead Sea, causing a temporary change in the water's color, especially in areas near the floodplains. This phenomenon is natural and occurs in such weather conditions, as the floods transport large quantities of silt and minerals to the water bodies.

It should be noted that this change in color is often temporary, as the water gradually returns to normal as the atmosphere stabilizes and the plankton settles to the bottom.

This comes in light of the effects of the recent weather fluctuations in the region, which caused valleys and streams to overflow and water levels to rise in several areas.
