Arab Weather - Satellite images tracking dust and sandstorms indicate the formation of dust waves in some desert and exposed areas, including the desert highway.

During the coming hours and on Thursday, wind speeds and accompanying gusts are expected to increase, and strong westerly winds will blow across the Kingdom, with severe gusts that may approach 90 km/h, especially in open and high areas, which will cause dense dust waves to blow on desert roads and eastern plains. Therefore, we at Arab Weather warn of the need to take the following recommendations into account:

• Beware of strong winds, some of which may reach speeds exceeding 90 km/h. It is recommended to secure outdoor belongings.
• Beware of the dangers of poor horizontal visibility on desert roads due to heavy dust waves.
