The full moon that decorated the sky yesterday... Why is April’s full moon called the “Pink Moon”?

Arabia Weather - The full moon of this April reached its full moon yesterday, Tuesday, and the “pink moon” will continue until next Thursday. After the total solar eclipse that occurred earlier in the month.

According to a NASA report, the April full moon is called the “Pink Moon,” but not because its actual color is pink, but rather because it coincides with the flowering period of wild “sage” flowers, which are distinguished by their pink color and are considered a symbol of spring.

It is noted in the report that the full moon in April is known by several different names, including the “pink moon,” some of which are derived from Native American traditions, such as the “full Easter moon,” in addition to names such as the “sprouting grass moon,” “egg moon,” and "Fish Moon."
