The government announces the date of the official holiday on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day

Weather of Arabia - The Prime Minister, Bishr Al-Khasawneh, issued, on Sunday, a communiqué stating that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government will suspend their work next Sunday, corresponding to the twenty-fifth of December. 2022 AD, as well as on Sunday corresponding to the first of January of the year 2023 AD; On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Eve.

The communication included that Monday, corresponding to the twenty-sixth of December 2022, would be an official holiday for Christian employees and students.

The communication excluded ministries, departments and official institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
