Arab Weather - The latest satellite images and computer simulation models indicate that the impact of the rainy weather system "Ghaith" will intensify over large parts of the Kingdom during the coming hours, starting from the late hours of the night (midnight until Thursday morning), with heavy rainfall expected to cover most areas, including the southern, central, northern, and eastern governorates, in addition to the desert, Jordan Valley, and Dead Sea regions.
The rains will also be accompanied, God willing, by thunderstorms gradually occurring over time, and may be accompanied by hail showers, with sudden wind activity in some areas.
• Drive carefully and maintain a safe distance during rain and fog.
• Be aware of the risk of flash floods and overflowing valleys, especially in low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea region, and areas where flash floods usually occur.
• Do not risk crossing floods, as the water speed is rapid and it carries debris and stones.
• Be aware of the risks of soil and rockfalls, especially in the southern highlands, slope areas, and valleys.
And God knows best.
