The Minister of Labor prohibits working for several hours for specific jobs during the heat wave.

Arab Weather - Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar decided to ban agricultural workers and those whose work requires them to be outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight from 12 noon until 4 pm during the heat wave.

The ministry's spokesman, Mohammed Al-Zayoud, said that the minister's decision will be implemented during the heat wave days announced by the Meteorological Department, starting from Monday, August 11, 2025, until Thursday, August 14, 2025.

He explained that the Minister's decision was based on the powers granted to him in the Agricultural Workers System of 2021 and the Occupational Safety, Health, and Prevention of Occupational Hazards System of 2023.

Al-Zayoud added that the minister's decision emphasized the commitment of business owners to the required measures to regulate working hours, ensuring workers are protected from direct exposure to sunlight during the days specified in the decision.
