And the statement said: “On the order of the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and in view of the precautionary conditions against the epidemic, which make it impossible to perform rain prayers according to the usual description, the request for relief from God Almighty will be done in all the mosques of the Kingdom on Friday, Rajab 2, 1443 AH, corresponding to February 4th. February 2022.

 

He added that the mosques of Morocco will witness a unified sermon that includes a statement of the significance of "this blessed year, and the spirit of supplication in which the believers turn to God on such an occasion, and that the usual supplication is raised in the rain prayer, after the Friday prayer."

 

Morocco is witnessing a delay in rainfall, which threatens the agricultural season, and the registration of a new year of drought.

 

The past year witnessed regular amounts of rain, which made the Kingdom set a record in terms of agricultural yield, which exceeded 103 million quintals of grain.
