Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate called for the necessity of taking the necessary precautionary measures during the expected low-pressure system this evening and adopting proper behavior by following the following tips and guidelines:

• Stay away from the sides of valleys, places where torrents form, and low-lying areas due to heavy rainfall, especially in western regions, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.
• Stay away from areas where water accumulates to avoid the risk of falling into them.
• Drive carefully on roads in areas expected to experience heavy rainfall.
• Do not risk crossing the road, whether on foot or by vehicle, if the water level is high.
• The safe use of heating appliances of all kinds, not supplying the heater with fuel while it is lit, not leaving it lit while sleeping, and the necessity of providing appropriate ventilation from time to time to renew the air and reduce the accumulation of harmful gases.
• Take precautions due to reduced horizontal visibility caused by fog on mountainous areas.
• Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
