Arab Weather - The latest weather updates from computer models approved by the Arab Weather Center indicate an increased likelihood of Atlantic polar storm activity intensifying in the coming period, with the North Atlantic and parts of Europe expected to experience severe weather fluctuations. These fluctuations include a significant drop in temperatures and strong winds that may reach speeds of 100 kilometers per hour or more, with an increased likelihood of snowfall in northern Europe.
In detail, meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the weather systems in the northern hemisphere are taking on a winter-like appearance over the coming period, as polar air masses increase in size above the Arctic Circle, leading to an intensification of the rush of extremely cold air masses coming from the Arctic towards the North Atlantic. These air masses will interact with warm and humid weather systems in the ocean, leading to the formation of deep depressions with widespread impacts. These depressions are expected to move across the Atlantic towards northwestern Europe, causing weather disturbances that may last for several days.
As air masses surge and Atlantic storms form, accompanied by a cold front, the storms cause strong winds and high waves, in addition to heavy rainfall and snowfall on high mountain peaks, especially in Iceland. Temperatures also drop below zero degrees Celsius in several areas of the continent's northwest, amid bitterly cold weather.
In this context, these storms cause significant waves on the Atlantic coast, which may lead to coastal flooding in some low-lying areas.
And God knows best.
