The Sultanate of Oman: An additional expansion of cumulus clouds over the Sultanate on Saturday 5-20-2023

Weather of Arabia - weather readings indicate that it is expected that the Sultanate's atmosphere will be affected by a groove from an air depression, in conjunction with an influx of water vapor with tropical characteristics from the south. And this weather system leads to an additional intensification and widening of the cumulonimbus clouds over the Hajar Mountains and the neighboring areas on Saturday, God willing.

Cumulonimbus cloud activity is expected to resume during the afternoon and evening of Saturday over the Hajar Mountains, represented by the heights of North Sharqiyah, South Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah and South Al Batinah, accompanied by rain of varying intensity and accompanied by the occurrence of thunder and hail at times. It leads to the flow of valleys and reefs in some areas, and cumulus rain clouds extend in the evening to some desert areas.

It is also possible that some rain clouds will multiply in limited parts in general of Buraimi, Musandam, and the south of Al Sharqiyah, in addition to the mountains and coasts of Dhofar, God willing.

The southwesterly winds gradually become active during the day in different parts of the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates, and lead to dust and dust, and the winds also become active during the passage of thunderclouds.
