  • Temperatures are expected to be colder than usual for most of the month as the weather system changes to a positive shape, and the region is affected on several occasions by cold air masses of polar origin. Humid winds also flow at intervals in conjunction with the approach of upper air depressions to the region coming from southern Europe, leading to rainfall in several parts, which may be accompanied by snow showers on the highlands, especially the highlands of Algeria.
