Two friends make an electric car by hand to participate in the `Gulf Challenge`

ArabiaWeather.com- Two friends studying mechanical engineering at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi managed to devise a car that runs on electricity in manual ways. This is in preparation for the competitions related to these innovations in the UAE.

Students Adetonji Alabai (30 years old) and Thomas Eric (25 years old) completed the car through manual labor in their free time, as they combined several engineering disciplines during its manufacture to reach its final form.

And "Alabai" stated that they worked on developing the car , which is characterized by a lighter weight and greater capacity, in order to compete in the Gulf Energy and Electric Car Challenge competitions for the year 2016, according to "ae24".
