Arab Weather - The latest data received from computer weather forecasting models in the Arab Weather application indicates that the UAE will be affected by a low-pressure system towards the end of this week, God willing, especially on Thursday, December 18, 2025, which will lead to increased and more regular rainfall, coinciding with a significant drop in temperatures, God willing.
In detail, the UAE will be affected at the end of the week by a low-pressure system accompanied by a highly effective cold front. This front will begin crossing the waters of the Arabian Gulf on Thursday evening and night/Friday, as thick thunderclouds will form over the waters of the Gulf and gradually move to various regions of the UAE, especially at dawn and on Friday morning, where rainfall will be organized in large parts of the country. The rain will be heavy at times and accompanied by thunder, starting from the coastal areas overlooking the Arabian Gulf and gradually extending towards the interior regions.
The passage of the cold front coincides with strong winds that stir up dust in the interior regions, while at the same time causing the sea to become turbulent and the waves to rise noticeably.
Before the main part of the low-pressure system passes through, scattered showers are expected in parts of the northeast of the UAE, and the rain will be heavy at times in some northern and eastern areas, God willing.
And God knows best.
