Update 7:25 PM | Thunderstorms north of Riyadh and lightning seen from inside the city when looking to the north

The latest satellite imagery and rain radar for the Riyadh region show thunderstorms laden with rain, now positioned north of Riyadh, and the city's residents can clearly see the lightning when looking north.

We will follow up with you on the course of these clouds and issue new alerts as they get closer to the city.
