Weather of Arabia - Two large clouds of clouds are present over the Sultanate, the first coming from the Sea of Oman, covering each of the states of South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiah, Muscat and Al Dakhiliyah and moving towards parts of Al Dhahirah and North Al Wusta. These clouds are accompanied by heavy rains and thunderstorms.
The second covers the Governorate of Dhofar and is coming from the Arabian Sea. During this time, heavy thunderstorms fall, including the city of Salalah.
