Update: Temperatures below zero degrees Celsius were recorded in several areas of the Kingdom this morning, including neighborhoods of the capital.

The weather monitoring stations at the Arab Weather Center recorded low temperatures in many areas of the Kingdom at dawn on Sunday 2/23/2025. In Tlaa Al Ali, west of the capital, it reached -0.8 degrees Celsius below zero, and both southern Taybeh and Rasoun/Ajloun recorded about -0.7 degrees Celsius below zero, and many other areas were also below zero degrees Celsius.

This comes as a result of the approach of a very cold polar air mass to the Kingdom, which is expected to have an increasing impact over the next two nights in the form of a further significant drop in temperatures, God willing.
