Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Maritime Authority issued a navigational warning yesterday evening, Saturday, of the state of atmospheric instability affecting the Kingdom today, Sunday, and the authority warned all marine vessels, especially small boats, to exercise the utmost caution and take all necessary measures to avoid the exit of any boat movement during the period of impact of the situation. With the necessity of informing the control tower of the Maritime Authority of any movements of the working parts in the berths of the ports and the docks for pleasure and fishing boats.

 

The Director-General of the Jordan Maritime Authority, Engineer Muhammad Salman, said that the authority had formed an operations room since Saturday evening to follow up on the expected weather on Sunday morning, stressing the need to listen to weather forecasts and warnings issued by the tower for all marine vessels in the Gulf of Aqaba, noting that these measures are taken by the authority to preserve Safety of life and property and in order to achieve the conditions and requirements of maritime safety, indicating that these procedures are adopted throughout the period of atmospheric instability, which may last for two consecutive days, according to the updates issued by the Meteorological Department.
