Urgent: The Meteorology Department raises the alert level to red in Mahayil and Rijal Alma'a in Asir.

The National Center for Meteorology raised the alert level to red in both Mahayil and Rijal Alma in the Asir region, as a result of the region continuing to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability.

The forecast indicates heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by hail and strong downdrafts, with a significant decrease in horizontal visibility and the possibility of flash floods in valleys and ravines.

The National Center for Meteorology called for caution and vigilance, urging people to stay away from flood channels and to follow the instructions issued by the competent authorities until further notice.
