Urgent | The suspension of maritime traffic in the Gulf of Aqaba due to weather conditions

Arab Weather - The Jordanian Maritime Authority banned, today, Tuesday, small boats in the Gulf of Aqaba, including glass boats and fishing boats, from moving, due to the high level of waves and the intensity of the winds as a result of the Khamsini depression that affects Jordan and the region.

The Director General of the Authority, Engineer Muhammad Salman, said that instructions have been issued to prevent all boats from sailing in the Gulf of Aqaba, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of hikers.
