The Arabia Weather team answered these questions and explained that the practical name for this type of cloud is (Roll Cloud), which is a type of beautiful cloud with a cylindrical shape that often appears along the coasts and above bodies of water, and the cold front plays an important role in the formation of these clouds, as It results from the movement of cold air over warm water; This cools the hot air rising from the sea surface, resulting in moisture condensing in the air and forming clouds.

Arabian weather specialists added that the thermal inversion plays a prominent role in the formation of these clouds, as it is characterized by the presence of warmer air at the top and cooler air at the bottom, which enhances the formation and stability of this unique type of clouds.
