Arabia Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The Arab Weather team was able to find rare, unusual scenes of snowfall in the center of Dawadmi Governorate, in the center of the Riyadh region, with the beginnings of the middle of the month of Sha`ban for the year 1413 AH - February of 1993

Snowfall in central Saudi Arabia is very rare, but it occurs over several years, as a result of the flow of very cold air masses towards the region.

The lack of cameras at that time made documenting the event difficult, but we were able to find these scenes of the al-Dawadami snow, as the clips show the soft cottony snow falling next to the tamarisk in Shuaib al-Dawadimi.
