Arab Weather - The weather forecast team monitored, during the afternoon hours of Thursday, large amounts of cumulonimbus clouds, which developed during the afternoon hours to the east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and moved westward and directly affected the holy sites, including the Grand Mosque and the holy sites of Mina and Arafat, where heavy rain fell on these areas accompanied by lightning and thunder.

The latest satellite images show the clouds beginning to weaken and the weather gradually returning to stability in the city of Mecca, but this stability will not last long according to the latest analyses of the weather forecasting team at “Arab Weather” and what the latest computer modeling outputs indicate.

Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center believe that the possibility of the same scenario being repeated tomorrow, Friday, will be high, God willing, as it is expected that the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region will be affected by a new wave of rain in the afternoon hours, which may be heavy at times, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and showers of hail, and God knows best.
