Video | The moment a training plane crashed between homes in the Turkish Bursa region, killing its pilots

Arab Weather - A single-engine plane crashed on Monday in a residential area in the northwestern Turkish city of Bursa, as the plane was flying near Yonsli Airport, a center for training flights.

Bursa Governor Yakup Canpolat said that a flight instructor and a trainee pilot were killed in the accident, while no one was injured in the neighborhood. Pictures from the scene showed flames rising between the buildings where the plane crashed and people rushed out of their homes.

The governor said the civilian training plane was most likely a technical crash because the weather conditions were right for the flight. The governor told reporters that the accident also destroyed two homes and two vehicles.

In June 2021, another training plane crashed near the same area, landing in a nearby orchard. The flight instructor and trainee pilot were injured.
