Weather of Arabia - At a time when Jordan and some regions of the Levant are witnessing a series of normal depressions, the storm "Farah" has swept the lands of Lebanon since last week, as temperatures dropped and heavy rain fell on the coast and in some areas of the Bekaa, while snow fell heavily and with thicknesses that exceeded meters above the high mountain heights.

Lebanon was affected by depressions in all layers of the atmosphere from the middle of last week until today, which were accompanied by cold air masses that affected Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean. Wind speed increased to 90 km / h, but it gradually receded on Thursday evening, to renew and intensify with the intrusion of cold winds on Friday evening and Saturday, which will continue until the end of this week.

Lebanon is also affected by more depressions accompanied by cold and wet winds, which intensify on Saturday and reach their peak again on Sunday and Monday, with heavy rainy and snowy weather, strong winds, and intensifying cold between the beginning and middle of the week, and snow falls at altitudes below 1000 meters, God willing.
