Water and Irrigation: The current depression has raised the cumulative rainfall to 45% of the average, and Irbid records the highest rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Arab Weather - Water and Irrigation said that the rainfall associated with the last snowy depression raised the volume of cumulative rain falling from the beginning of the season on all governorates of the Kingdom until Thursday morning to (45%) of the long-term annual rate of (8.1 billion m3), and that The highest percentage of precipitation during the past 24 hours was recorded in Irbid / Al-Hosn Station (48 mm).

She explained that the quantities of water entering the main dams during the past 24 hours amounted to (2.4) million m3, most of which were recorded in King Talal Dam with a capacity of (1.4) million m3, while the southern dams did not record any amounts entering them during the past hours.

The ministry noted that, as a result of the expectations of freezing and the flow of quantities of water from the roofs of houses, it appeals to everyone to ensure that rainwater gutters are not connected to sewage networks, to ensure the effectiveness of submersible pumps, to protect water meters and household water facilities from freezing, and to stay away from torrents and valleys.
