Weather phenomena that accompany atmospheric instability

Arab Weather - Atmospheric instability occurs when cold air in the upper layers of the atmosphere meets warm or hotter air in the lower layers of the atmosphere. This meeting coincides with the presence of sufficient moisture in those layers, at which point cumulonimbus clouds with vertical growth are formed. They are often local in nature and are characterized by a lack of comprehensiveness in the distribution of rain or even its intensity.

Unstable weather conditions are accompanied by various weather phenomena.

1- Thunderstorms and lightning sometimes.
2- Heavy rainfall, usually, during short periods of time.
3- It is accompanied by downdrafts and forms sandstorms.
4- Sometimes it is accompanied by hail of varying sizes.

God willing, the Kingdom will be gradually affected, as the daytime hours of Saturday, December 6, 2025 pass, by a state of atmospheric instability that will intensify and expand its scope of impact during the evening and night hours. Its impact will be strong on Aqaba and the surrounding areas, in addition to Wadi Araba and various parts of the southern, eastern, and desert regions.
