Weather update | A new wave of thunderstorms over Madaba is moving towards the south and east of Amman and Zarqa

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images and lightning radar indicate the formation of a new wave of thunderclouds currently centered over Madaba and the northern parts of Karak Governorate. It is expected to extend during the next hour to affect parts of the east and south of the capital Amman and Zarqa.

These clouds are expected to be accompanied by showers of rain, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by hail. This will coincide with lightning, thunder, and thunderstorms, in addition to strong local gusts of wind. Caution is advised while driving due to reduced horizontal visibility and thunderstorms, in addition to avoiding open areas during thunderstorm activity.
