The latest outputs of numerical models and analyses by the weather forecasting team at Arab Weather indicate that about 12 Arab countries will be affected during the weekend by a widespread state of atmospheric instability , low-pressure systems and heavy thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, thunder and hail showers in several areas, with chances of local floods as a result of heavy rainfall .
The central and northern parts of Morocco and Algeria are expected to be affected on Friday and Saturday by a state of atmospheric instability , with increasing cloud cover and varying intensities of thunderstorms , which may be heavy at times, accompanied by lightning and thunder.
This situation is also expected to extend later to include parts of Tunisia during the afternoon and evening hours of Friday.
