Arab Weather - Normal summer weather prevailed across the Kingdom on Wednesday, while it was hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and desert areas. The temperature in the capital, Amman, reached 33 degrees Celsius, according to data from the Amman Civil Airport station in the Marka area, east of the capital.
The latest weather forecasts from Arab Weather indicate that temperatures will remain 2-3 degrees above average tomorrow, amid relatively hot weather across the region, and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and desert areas, with moderate northwesterly winds, which will pick up in the afternoon.
During the evening and night hours, the weather is expected to be generally moderate, with moderate northwesterly winds.
Arab Weather forecasters said the latest weather data indicates a slight rise in temperatures on Friday, followed by a slight drop on Saturday and Sunday. However, the weather will remain normal to relatively hot in all regions.
Weather maps indicate that the Kingdom will be increasingly affected by the hot air mass located to the south and east of the Kingdom starting next Monday, July 21, 2025, and throughout the rest of the week. This comes as the upper high located north of the Arabian Peninsula is expected to expand further into the region.
Therefore, God willing, temperatures are expected to rise further on Monday, becoming 4-6 degrees above their general average, and the weather will turn hot in all regions and very hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. The expected maximum temperature on Monday is 38 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, with no indications of the temperature reaching the 40 degree barrier in the capital, while temperatures will exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea, amidst the expected very hot weather.
Arab Weather experts said that initial indications indicate the Kingdom will continue to be affected by a heat wave on Tuesday and into the end of next week, though it will not deepen sufficiently to allow the weather system to develop into a heat wave. It's worth noting that the weather next week will be the hottest since the beginning of summer, according to recent forecasts.
Experts confirm that weather forecasts for next week will remain volatile due to the relatively long period of time, which exceeds five days. Therefore, we advise you to follow the weather reports and temperature details on the Arab Weather app.
