Arab Weather - The latest analyses from numerical weather models indicate that moderate air masses will continue to reach the eastern Mediterranean basin, playing a key role in preventing the deepening of hot air masses that could trigger severe heat waves in the Levant and Jordan in the coming period.

Heat waves are unlikely to affect the Kingdom in the foreseeable future.

For their part, meteorologists at the Arab Weather Center confirmed that weather maps indicate that the hot air is not approaching the Kingdom, and that it will not penetrate deep enough to cause a heat wave or raise temperatures to extremely high levels. Consequently, there are no signs of heat waves in Jordan in the coming period.

Looking at the North Pole and the prevailing systems in the northern part of the globe, and despite the beginning of summer, we notice the continued push of upper air depressions coming from the North Pole towards the European continent, specifically eastern Europe. This matter forces air masses with cooler temperatures to head towards the region coming from eastern Europe, acting as a barrier to the advance of the Arab high pressure towards the region of Jordan and the Levant, thus distancing the heat waves.

A temporary rise in temperatures on Saturday, followed by a noticeable drop.

In confirmation of the above, God willing, the Kingdom is expected to be affected on Saturday by a relatively hot air mass. However, it will be fast-acting and will precede the arrival of a moderate air mass to the Kingdom at the beginning of next week. Consequently, temperature fluctuations will continue over the coming days, God willing.

And God knows best.
