Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The weather forecast team at the "Arab Weather Regional Center" is monitoring the developments and updates of the cumulonimbus cloud mass and the weather system centered to the east of the Arabian Sea, which is currently classified as a tropical depression, the first in the Arabian Sea for this season.

 

Satellite images show the tropical depression gradually moving westward, with accompanying rain clouds expected to begin entering the Sultanate of Oman’s atmosphere at midnight on Monday and at dawn and morning on Tuesday, bringing with it heavy thunderstorms to large parts of the Sultanate.

According to the latest computer modelling outputs, it is expected that different parts of the UAE , especially the eastern and northern parts, will be affected by the remnants of tropical moisture on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in the form of cumulonimbus clouds that will be active primarily in the mountains, and may extend towards some interior parts, accompanied by showers of varying intensity.
