Epidemic: It is a disease that spreads rapidly within a community or among the population of a particular region or country, and usually it can be controlled and its spread does not extend to all parts of the world. Like the cholera epidemic that spread in several regions throughout history, but it was receding before it swept the world.

Pandemic: A pandemic that is difficult to control, infects a large number of people and crosses international borders, sweeping across the world, countries or multiple continents. Like the Corona pandemic that invaded most countries of the world.
