Weather of Arabia - It is one of the customs of the people of Mecca on the day of Arafat that women and some men go out to break the fast and pray in the Grand Mosque in Mecca at the time of sunset and dinner, after the pilgrims go to Arafat, in order to ensure that the circumambulation bowl in the Sacred House of God does not remain empty.

The number of women is often greater than that of men on this day, as most men are busy serving pilgrims in Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina. Women who participate in this custom are called female companions of the sanctuary.
