Arab Weather - Weather specialists at Arab Weather are monitoring the latest outputs of numerical models that indicate the possibility of the Levant region, including Jordan, being affected, starting from next Saturday (24 Ramadan), by a state of atmospheric instability that will renew the chances of rain on several days, which may continue during the period of Eid al-Fitr.
According to initial analyses, the effects of the weather system are expected to begin on Saturday with a state of instability, with clouds increasing and showers falling in scattered areas of the Kingdom. This will be followed by the region being affected by a low-pressure system on Sunday and Monday, which will lead to an increase in cloud density and rainfall in several areas of Jordan, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by lightning and thunder, coinciding with a noticeable drop in temperatures.
Experts expect the weather to tend towards temporary stability on Tuesday, before the weather fluctuations resume their activity starting from March 18, as a result of a cold air mass rushing towards the region, which will lower temperatures and bring back rainy winter weather to different parts of the Kingdom.
If these weather scenarios materialize, cold and rainy weather is expected to continue during the first days of Eid al-Fitr, which may necessitate wearing winter clothes during the holiday period.
