Arab Weather - The latest weather map analysis from Arab Weather indicates that thunderstorms are expected to intensify in some areas of the Sultanate of Oman starting mid-week, with cumulus clouds spreading to wider areas, God willing.

Moderate atmospheric instability affects the Sultanate

God willing, the Sultanate will be affected by a low-pressure trough during the middle and end of this week. This will, God willing, lead to intensified weather disturbances across large parts of the Sultanate, accompanied by the emergence of a moderate state of atmospheric instability covering various parts of the country.

Heavy rains in some areas, and cumulus clouds covering wider areas.

Thunderstorms are expected to intensify, especially on Tuesdays and until the end of the week, over large parts of the Al Hajar Mountains and some neighboring areas. They will be thundery and heavy at times, accompanied by heavy hail and thunderstorms, which may lead to rising water levels, the formation of flash floods, and the flow of valleys in some areas. Strong winds are also expected, accompanied by cumulus clouds, or what are known as descending winds.
